Yes, but Aimpoint did do a 2% increase for 2012.

Take the time to find out if you really like the 4MOA enough. Most people are going to be taking a bath for how much they sell the now 'obsolete' 4MOA micros that are still on their first battery. I suspect the used ones are going to drop to where the R-1's once were on closeout.

I hope so. For me these red dots are short range sights so I don't really care that they are 3.4 moa. If it were my only optic I would want the 2 moa version but its not.

I shoot the standard 4MOA pretty well. The dot in the 2MOA T1 seems ever so slightly more round and crisp to my eye as does the 2MOA dot of the M4 and M4S. I believe this is due to in part to a wearing contacts and my slight astigmatismin my right eye that my contacts don't correct for, I don't notice it as much if shooting while wearing my prescription glasses.

While I'd love to take advantage of some of these panic sellers, I have to agree.

There is no way in hell I'd sell a 4 MOA T-1/H-1, especially one I got free as a gift, just because there is now a 2 MOA version without getting out and shooting the piss out of the 4 MOA to see if it was even an issue.

But, since most people buy and sell on a theoretical need/use rather than actual....

I ordered a 2 MOA T1 from Larue yesterday and received notice today that it is backordered with an ETA of end of this month or first of next month...

I have shot 2 and 4 moa aimpoints side by side. If the 2 MOA is $640 and the 4 MOA is $639, I am going to buy the 4 MOA.

There is a difference, but I don't use a magnifier and for distance shooting (>200 yards) you are using a holdover anyway.

The only way anyone is going to score deals on used 4 MOA T1s is when the people Rob mentioned (those who buy and sell without actually using the thing) upgrade to the latest and greatest.

I understand the desires for a 2 MOA which now has come to be. What I don't understand is the sudden end of the world comments, "oh man, that sucks I just bought an 4 MOA..." how long have the 4 MOA been serving shooters just fine? Again, not saying the evolution to 2 MOA is not a good thing. Like Rob said, mostly theoretical use/need vs. reality.

Funny, I just ordered a 4 MOA T1 combo with the DD mount last night. First, for whatever reason, my astigmatism will not allow the 2 MOA dot to be clear in anything but the brightest of conditions. The 4 is much better for me. Two, I am mounting the sight on a LW rifle. 100 yards and closer is likely to be the typical distance(s) I use the rifle. I fully understand the attributes of a 2 MOA but you can't tell me that even a 4 MOA isn't more beneficial than iron sights with the proper training at this distance.

I do not think so. They will be a offered just like the ML3 4MOA/M3 4MOA.
