This is a pic of the wife with her 6450. First post obviously.

    Welcome to the forum!

I'm a kool-aide drinker too. I had a blue box 9mm carbine years ago and stupidly sold it.

Very nice! I just picked up a NIB 6430 (Pre-Ban) from a friend of a customer that inherited it.

I was pressed for time, so here is the story. I have wanted the wife to have a go to carbine in case of riots, insurrections, you know the usual. I bought her a Armalite carbine in 1999 and she liked it ok, I mounted a ACOF TA01 on it and she liked it even more. Now she has always been a Hi-Power lover and most recently I bought her a Kimber Tactical Pro in.....9mm! And of course she loves (as do I). So the wheels started turning and my local shop in Dallas had a 6450, so I bought it. That is a a ACOF 2x20 Compact mounted on it. One problem is that the two magazines that came with the rifle did not function reliably until I put Wolffs in.

    So that the story.

Me too! It was so fun to shoot; Everyone always asking to shoot it. I'm constantly pressuring my coworker to sell it back to me. Someday...

Okay, some confusion on my part, there are some super random numbers going on with the Colt models.
Grant, could you do a sticky with the different Colt models, just because of stupid people like me, we need something to go on when cool in the know guys are rattling off numbers.
    Thanks.
