    "Overzealous" PMag

A new PMAG I have has suddenly gotten...an "attitude". After a three foot fall onto a concrete floor (and puking up about ten rounds onto said floor) - it suddenly thinks it dosen't want to be fed anymore. For whatever reason - and this is why I'm asking - when rounds are inserted, with the slightest tap on a desk top to seat them, it happens again. (I'm currently pulling about eight .223 out of the garbage can next to my desk...) WTF???

My guess is it has a hair line crack on the body that supports the feed lips. See if you can flex the body and find the crack. You must have hit it just right.

And after you find the crack, write to Magpul about it and give them first crack at making it right.

Similar thing happened to me a few months ago. I'm currently in Baghdad. I dropped one onto gravel and the spine cracked about 2 inches from the top straight down. I took a picture of it and emailed Magpul. They were MORE than helpful. Replaced the magazine body "and then some".

The rep said that its a very rare occurrence, maybe only 1 or 2 out of THOUSANDS could be like that. Just weaker in some areas. I have 12 over here with me right now and I haven't been "gentle" with them. They have held up and performed as they're expected to. Excellent company, products, and service. Just give them a call.
