    Heard a rumor a S&B 1.1 to 8 short dot?

I read on Brian Enos' forum that S&B is supposed to be coming out with a Short dot that has a 1.1 to 8 power range. If this is so I will buy it. Anyone have any information on this?

I wonder how big the scope is going to be...what are you going to put it on?

I would put it on one of my three gun rifles a 20 inch Larue Stealth.

That may have been my post on the Enos forums. I talked to the Justin at the S&B booth at the Marine Day Marine Expo and he mentioned that they'll be coming out with a 1.1-8x Short Dot.

Any idea of when it is coming out. I need to know rather to get something else now or wait and save.

IIRC he said they'd introduce it at SHOT show next year which means Jan/Feb 2010.

That sounds really interesting- and 8x optical range, are there any scopes out there with that kind of multiplier? Sounds big and expensive.

That would be a great optic for a short .308 AR.
