    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    The only reason I would suggest an A2 is for compatibility with current .mil issue, but you're right Stick if it were a dedicated iron sight rifle than A1 would be a great choice.

    It'll be an iron sight only gun for a while, I'm afraid, but I imagine there's an Aimpoint in the not too distant future. If I go with an A2 carry handle, when the Aimpoint goes on I'd have to lose the carry handle and get a BUIS.

    It's already a flattop, so the A1 upper is no longer an option.

    I think whatever BUIS sights i am using, fixed or flip-up, i would prefer to have the larger ghost ring peep aperature be my default aperature for 0-200 yds.

    I just bought a Troy sight. It has a slight cant to the left, is that normal?
    The sight when extended does wobble left to right a little too.

    The aperture design is more like the A1 sight to me.
