For those people wanting a little heavier breaking trigger than the standard 4 lb TTU, Wilson Combat also offers the TTU-MIL version that breaks between 5-5 3/4 lbs. I am trying to decide on a single stage trigger for my RDS lightweight carbine and have narrowed it down to one of the Wilson Combat TTU triggers or one of the coated LWRCI or Spike's Tactical OEM triggers.

I have found the standard single-stage TTU's to be fairly "heavy." Too heavy, in fact, for a precision type rifle *for me* which is why I went with the lighter two-stage in that application. I suppose if I was in combat or on the street a slightly heavier offering would be welcomed, which is exactly why WC is offering this - due to feedback.

Will this trigger work on my Ruger SR556? I think the lower receiver is standard but not sure if there is any other issues that might prevent it's use?

I'm glad I found this as I was also looking at this last year. But was told by many on another forum that it wasn't a good trigger. Probably people that have never even seen one at that. Bit its hard to drop that kind of cash on a trigger with my income. But I think I'm going to go for it.

I know of the user(s) posting that fud about the TTU. This was a very select few of the TTU's that had a reset problem. WC has only had customers have problems with 5-10 of the early ones out of thousands sold.

I have 4 TTUs and they have been absolutely flawless. Stickman has one with close to or over 20,000trigger pulls without an issue.

    WC TTU's are definitely GTG.

No I don't work for WC, I just love & own a bunch of their 1911's and TTU's.
