Unhappy Dropped my CMMG .22LR conversion!!!

I was putting the cap back on the factory tube and the air pressure pushed the bottom end off and my .22 conversion landed on the concrete floor!

The drop dented the chamber adapter tip that represents the neck of the cartridge.

Does the kit need that portion of the adapter for proper function or could I just dremmel the "neck" back a bit and be okay?

A replacement chamber adapter is $45 with shipping.

    Thanks in advance!

Seems like your best bet would be to call CMMG and get their take on it.

My question would be, dented how bad? Since the chamber adapter is what the bullet travels thru anything that would restrict bullet travel would be dangerous.
