    Here you go:

The "Gapper" installed in a bone stock M4gery -

And since we're discussing trigger guards, here is one of UT Arms trigger guards from their first production run -

Will the MOE guard work with a Tango Down grip that has the protrusion to cover the gap?

I saw a picture of that combination yesterday, so I would assume it is good to go.

my LMT lower came with the "gapper" installed. been trying into install my Magpul trigger guard but can't get the pin out of the LMT....terrified of breaking off an "ear". supporting it as well, as was suggested by others on M4c.

does the installation of a "gapper" put extra forward tension on the trigger pin?

I have aluminum Magpul trigger guard and find it still leaves a gap large enough to annoy. My other rifle has a gapper and it feels much better. I am getting a gapper and keeping the standard trigger guard for the next build.
Gapper does not put extra forward tension. It's just a piece of rubber that gets squished.
