I actaully would consider the Enhanced easier to install since the front hole is already tapped. I installed two MOE's and I found them both troublesome; the front hole on the plastic MOE is not tapped; and the hex nut screw that they provide is flimsy (really easy to strip the hex nut) and has to be screwed it into the plastic. Buy the enhanced as its worth the extra $10 as its much easier to install. The weight savings delta is trivial in my opinion. As far as filling the gap... I found them pretty much identical.

Any chance you could post a picture of this, because I have two or three of them and they all look like the picture above where the gap is not fully filled and the most offensive part is the part left still exposed..

Not to mention, the Enhanced is just classier.

I don't have any examples but maybe it is a receiver tolerance issue

Maybe so, but the metal one doesn't have the problem, and I've tried multiple examples of each on multiple lowers. The MOE consistently does not fully fill the gap and looks exactly like the one in the picture posted by the OP. If I get time this weekend maybe I'll take one of each off the guns, but they are not built to the exact same dimensions. I can take a lower with a MOE that does not fill the gap, put on a metal one and the gap is completely filled. Not sure why Magpul would choose to do them at different sizes.

The trigger guard in the rear of the pic is the magpul miad full pistol grip the trigger guard is one piece with the front strap.
    See pic

I don't know how you would strip it out the hex nut it is not to be torqued down only turned flush to the trigger guard tab.

That is the one in the photo that has no gap.

I would be inclined to agree if they used a frontstrap without the finger bump, or at least the finger bump wasn't solid so I could grind it off without too much issue.

Here are a couple pictures that may show the MIAD trigger guard a little better.

Ah-soo.....thanks for clearing that up. Confusing as hell that they put those two together on the web page describing just the stand-alone trigger guard.

    Ditto -- hate the bump.
