back up sight for EOTech setup???

Im new to the AR-15 and Im looking for a back up, flip up rear site that will work well with my EOTech 557 and EOTech 3X Magnifier on a flip-to-side mount. Ive seen pics of flip up rear sites that fit nicley under the 3X magnifier when not in use. Can anyone make any suggestions?? Pics?? Thanks in advance for the help.

How much do you want to spend? Have you tried searching BUIS?

Im searching for BUIS on google and finding several options. I was hoping someone could steer me in the direction of a quality BUIS that will clear my 3X magnifier. Is it safe to assume any "low profile" BUIS should meet my clearance needs?? My budget is open for a quality BUIS. Thanks

I am leaning towards the Troy Industries Folding Rear Battle Sight, any thought?

Lots of good choices out there. I have the same set up on a rifle and have the troy rear. I will say that on my newest build I put a Magpul MBUS on it and I like the speed the sight can be deployed. They are not the same quality as a Troy but they are a lot cheaper!!!! Unless your going to run your sights all the time I would go with Magpul, they are cheaper, get the job done and a bit lighter. With an optic the odds are you may never use the iron sights.

Keep in mind that you will not be using the iron sights with the magnifier. All of them fit nicely under the magnifier and can be flipped up pretty quickly.

The only sight I know I would NOT buy is an ARMS sight. Most people will agree with that statement.

Here is a good source, all of them are great vendors:

I have bought from all of the above and they are all great!!!!! I would decide what you want to purchase and than see who has the best deal out the door with shipping. You can't go wrong with Troy, LaRue, Magpul.

    Hope that helps you out!

That's the way I'd go, and I recently saw someplace that has them on sale for $90 (normally $140).
