    Magnifier/BUIS problem

Im running a eotech 512 with g23-fts magnifier and trying to find a rear backup iron sight with low enough clearence.. I was running a Magpul quick deploy Back up Sight but it will not allow the magnifier to close with the flip to side mount. Any suggestions on a sight setup that will allow it to work?

They're spendy, but these fit under everything I've seen, so far: http://www.knightarmco.com/micro_flipup_25650.htm

...with the added benefit of being a very good, very tough rear BUIS, to boot.

I have rifles with standard Troy rear sights, and one with an A.R.M.S. 40L. With the built-in 7mm riser of the 557/3xFTS, not problem with clearance.

I don't know it for a fact, but it looks to me like I could remove the 7mm riser from the 3XFTS mount and it would still clear the Troy BUIS.

Not that spendy...and worth every penny.
