Picked up a nice dust cover rail from a forum member and got a great deal on a H-1 sight.
Co-witness is not an option with this set up.
Looking forward to another trip to Phoenix in a few weeks so I can dump the 10 round mag.

All of these beauties are really making me think one might be in my near future.
My first non AR15 or AK battle rifle.
DSA Type 1. Ironwood furniture. Williams QD Pro mount.
That's the first mention of a Williams mount I've seen in years. I have the QD SL (Super Low) mount on a favorite shooter. It gives me co-witness on the irons with an Aimpoint. Great product from a crappy (and extinct) company.
Assuming the normal tight fit I suggest you only remove it under extreme need - otherwise it likely wear loose.
It goes on really tight. I dont see ay real reason to take it off. I can use the iron sights with it on.
rdnzl the wood on that is stunning, congrats

Very nice and I'm jealous of the Williams mount.
