    Very nice, how's DSA FAL ?
    Fantastic!

    I'm not a professional, just a hobbyist. I assembled the DSA over time and tried to use the best parts I could find. If you look at DSAs offerings the closest match you'll find is the para congo. Basically that one is almost the same character minus the OEM factory barrel (chrome chamber and lined). The new ones are 4150 chrome moly. Also, I have seen some "DSA paras" for sale on gunbroker that have steel lowers. The use of an aluminum lower (and aluminum magazine) keep the weight low and allow for a nice balanced feel that fits me.

    Having been fortunate enough over the last 20 years to be able to try several MBRs, the paratrooper FAL is the one I prefer for various reasons. If you have the opportunity to try one I think you'll find a grin on your face after the first round.

    I've heard the aussies did something similar with their FAL's in vietnam. Never seen any pictures or hard evidence of this though.
