    Use of "photo" 123 batteries

I have read about not using the "photo" batteries in surefire lights but what about EoTechs? I have a 516 and have used batteries marked photo and experienced no problems. Any info or experience on this would be great. Thanks

Try reading this thread in the lights/ lasers/ knives area. You posted your question in optics/ mounts.

That thread is why I asked the question regarding EoTechs. I posted my question in the Optics/Mounts section because the question is about the use of "photo" CR123 batteries in an EoTech, which is an optic.

I just want to know if anyone has had any problems or has been told by the Manufacturer that photo batteries shouldn't be used. Thanks

I have not personally used that model of Eotech, but I am fairly certain it won't be a problem. With the lights I am guessing it has to do with the heat generated and output.
