Another take on the discreet range bag/manpurse

About a year and a half ago, somebody at work was cleaning out an empty cube and got ready to toss this old Port laptop bag. I was needing to upgrade my range bag and claimed it. I've got it set up as such, but with a change of items it could be a discreet go-bag, although it might be a bit bulky for some situations. It has a very low-key appearance. A laptop might be a target for theft but it's about as innocuous as possible these days, and if you were downtown or in a business area is probably even less conspicuous than a sports type bag.

Front pocket has lots of compartments: I spy some Glock mags, staple gun, bottles of Slip2000 and cleaner, boresnake, sharpie, etc.

The center pocket is large, squared off, and padded. I usually keep a Tactical Tailor pistol rug in there, but don't have a bag for my 34 yet so I tossed the Glock factory case in there, should give a good idea of the size. It also has a strap to secure whatever you've got in there, although I don't find that to be very useful.

The back section has some dividers for folders/papers but it also has a wide, flat bottom and I usually toss my ammo in there, along with my holsters and an Otis kit.

Last, on the very back is a slot where I keep a pack of shoot-n-see type targets. Obligatory pet-shot included (Pete the Boston, Rusty the cat).
