Omega9K - Yes, I shoot 5.56 through it.
Not joking in the least. I probably have about 2200rds of 5.56 through it on a 14.5" rifle.
***I don't necessarily condone doing it if you own one, but I do not use it on anything less than a 14.5" rifle.***
Bear in mind the Omega 9K isn't a traditional pistol suppressor. It's not an aluminum tube with stainless steel baffles, it's a fully welded unit consisting of a 17-4PH Tube, a Stellite blast baffle and the remaining baffles are 17-4PH as well. I don't go out and pretend of have a machine gun.
I use it frequently on a 16" and 18". Obviously, the longer the barrel the lower the decorking pressure. A 14.5" 5.56 and a 8" .300 Blackout, shooting supersonic ammunition both hover around 8000 PSI at the muzzle from data I've seen. Also, to clarify, I'm not the only person that does this.
Your mileage may vary.

Hey hey! Got my SWR/Silencerco Spectre back from Silencerco. $200 got me the new and improved guts for my 10 year old can! About 10 day turnaround including weekend!

Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”
