I was corresponding with a friend in Canada.

He mentioned that they cannot shoot through a stack of tires laid horizontally.

So out of control. So what is it, one tire = two years, three tires = five years, five tires, in for a bitch? (Life). Because one didn't want to disturb one's neighbors?

Mind you I have not verified the illegality but it sounds real..... tire tube, shooting through, is an illegal silencer.

I made a 5 gallon bucket version of this type of thing for rimefire shooting decades ago. Kinda worked.

Meanwhile there are multiple countries in Europe where it is illegal to hunt *without* a suppressor.
