Form 1 Approved in One Day!

I bought a Colt 6951 last week with the intent to SBR it. I filled out the Form 1 through Silencer Shop, and submitted it electronically yesterday morning. This morning, it was approved! I can’t believe it.

I have several other NFA items, including several SBRs, and I’ve never had one approved this fast. My last one was about a year ago, and that took a month (which I thought was pretty good). I remember back in the early 2000s (my first SBR) waiting 8 months!

The word on the streets is that the legislative branch is cracking down on govt buffoonery and that the ATF's lazy slop was low hanging fruit to show results.

It does not seem to be affecting trusts.

Could be speeding up the process as they want to show proof that all guns can be registered and done quickly. The easier/quicker you make NFA approvals the more people will register…

Just got my RC3 back in one day through silencershop!

Yeah. Pappabear had some Trust stamps that are still bogged down in ATF Affirmative Action Hire buffoonery.

It's nuts. This correct approval time is nice, but there's no NFA items I want. I'd like a Colt 6921, but I effectively have that already in a few of my existing M4s.
