FWIW the current rifle I run now has had nothing but wolf thorugh it. With over 5000 rounds down range I have had zero problems related to ammo with this rifle. Yeah sure it's dirty {so I clean it more} and it groups a little bit bigger than WWB or the other better brass ammo. Eh so what it works. This rifle has also been through 2 carbine classes and each class I have gone through over 1000 rounds of wolf in an 8 hour class and no problems as long as the bolt and carrier were kept wet she ran like a dream with wolf. Now my rifle has a chrome bolt and carrier so that may be a part of why it stays running. But I cannot find any fault with the choice of ammo I use in it.

I've put over 3,000 rounds through one rifle and over 2,000 rounds of Wolf through another rifle. I've only had 2 failures to feed. Wolf is not the greatest ammo but it will reliably work most of the time. I like the newer polymer coated stuff better than the varnished stuff. Wolf is also bringing out Wolf Gold. Wolf Gold will be brass cases instead of the steel cases. I would not hesitate to use it for most of my shooting needs BUT if I needed accuracy for long range shooting or sniping I would switch to something else.

Wolf Gold line is mostly Prvi-Partizan manufacture, I believe from Serbia. Wolf is only an importer they don't actually manufacture any ammunition.

The Wolf Prvi Partizan M193 is good stuff. It's not as hot as Guat or our own Federal XM193, I believe it was clocking 200 - 300 fps slower, but it has been more accurate in my experience. I stashed away quite a bit when I found out that it was not going to be imported in the same quanities as when it came out. For a while Sportsmans Guide was selling it for $189 per 1000. Maybe 6-8 months ago. You'll be lucky to find it for less than $240 per K if you can find it at all.

I have fired wolf through my colt to the tune of somewhere around 40,000 rounds. Works well for training.
