    Southpark is probably one of the smartest shows on tv(not sure how much that really means)...If you can get past the whole "vulgar cartoon" thing.

    Sponge Bob is quality entertainment as well(far too much saturation though).

    I would go with Dexter followed by The Sopranos.

    ...I've only seen an episode or two of The Wire and Weeds.I plan to start watching both from the beginning soon.

    Firefly. If you've got a libertarian bone in your body, you gotta love Firefly. Then again, coming from a guy that hasn't owned a TV in years, this opinion means almost nothing.
