Yea you can go on and find the flight paths for older flights. We actually change flight paths from one city to the other sometimes every flight depending on winds and weather and what not. I have flown the same flight 2x in one day and had a different flight plan on each leg.
All I am saying is a simple time, speed, distance calculation is pretty easy and quick to do, especially if you know you are probably going to fly over a city(and have a list of distances already figured out) and then the pilot announces the cities you are going to fly over and gives you the second half of your equation.
