    Video Editing Software Help

My better half needs some suggestions for video editing software. She is putting together a video that will have photos, sound/music, footage and graphics. She is willing to buy a good package, but the ease of use and price will both need to be acceptable.

So, what are the best packages for putting together the video? I've seen some pretty good stuff on Youtube, I hope someone here knows.

Sony Vegas Pro, although it is overkill for the little that she is trying to do.

    They also have http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/moviestudiopp

Which should be enough for what you described.

The only thing I don't know is what features are not in the movie studio version. I think there is a comparison chart there somewhere.

    It's an excellent program though.

I just use Windows Movie Maker that comes with XP. It is easy to use but not very stable unless you have a good box with plenty of RAM.
