I'm thinking of other benefits like the originally intended one. I don't just shoot in FL. I have friends in other states and a couple times a year we go camping/backpacking/shooting. Basically an excuse for middle age men to put on a 3 day pack, walk through the woods, pitch a tent and go shooting.
Being able to sling a rifle with a folded stock makes it a bit more portable.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
