I prefer to live my life not worrying about some one elses Bottle Opener.
My brother saw Deliverance and bought a Bow. I saw Deliverance and bought an AR-15.
as cool as i'm sure the guys at larue are, i really can't rank this up there with selling your grandmother's holocaust ring or something...
it's just a promotional bottle opener.
I think that since LaRue sells the basic 'Dillo on their website as well, for more than that starting bid, it's not really heinous. Also, people on Arfcom are trading and hoarding them like 8 year olds with Pokemon cards. "Have you got a SHOT Show 2007 Dillo? I'll trade two and a Christmas 2009, for a Disavowed Nigerian Op Dillo. Gotta catch 'em all!" I'm sure someone will buy it, and hey, it's his property.
I don't have one, since every time I've bought LaRue gear it's been from a authorized distributor, since I double up on orders to save on shipping, and the distributors often have better prices. Sure, I'd like a 'Dillo, and if I didn't have one, and saw it for sale at a local store or gun show, I'd probably pay a max of $5 for one and throw it on my desk to open bottles.

It's freebee schwag, not really a personal gift from Mark LaRue.
I don't even own that many LaRue items, but between buying a few things from LaRue and getting a couple of them at gun classes, I probably have half a dozen of those Dillo bottle openers.
I'm not going to sell them on Ebay, but it doesn't really seem like a big deal one way or another. Sell them, trade them for a hat, who cares.
got one with a holiday gift this season... its hanging on the tree as an ornament lol...
i do find it a bit tacky to sell the stuff u get for free to be honest... I got a free hat as well, would not sell it either. I know its not a personal gift or anything, but its a thanks from the people of LaRue. Seems a bit a-holish to sell it. Just me I guess.
