Guess I'm a dummy.... Why doesn't it work. It's a standard upper receiver dimensionally, correct? And the Double Diamond lower takes a standard upper correct? What am I missing?

The comment was meant to be a bit vague. The upper/rail would work with the 9mm platform because it is blowback, but the upper/rail would not work with a short DI system.

We want to use the same upper and rails with all our pistol caliber guns that we are releasing. So, because the upper/rail in question would not work with the “Other” pistol calibers we are coming out with we will not use it for the 9mm.

Damn, of course this happens after I rebuilt my 9mm on a new NDS lower.

Question - maybe I missed it, but what's the difference between T1 and T2 lowers?

The T1 version is 6061-T6511.

The T2 Version is 7075-T651.
