The comment was meant to be a bit vague. The upper/rail would work with the 9mm platform because it is blowback, but the upper/rail would not work with a short DI system.

We want to use the same upper and rails with all our pistol caliber guns that we are releasing. So, because the upper/rail in question would not work with the “Other” pistol calibers we are coming out with we will not use it for the 9mm.

Does that mean that if someone bought one of the Mega monolithic uppers, and one of the BCM 9mm barrels, linked to previously that it wouldn't work with your lower?

I like the custom engraving options. That way if I know I am going to SBR it I can just have you do the engraving before I order it. Nice touch. In fact, very nice touch.

No, that upper would work just fine for the 9mm, but not with other calibers that would require a gas block under the rail.

Have you thought about the Vltor VIS upper?

Vltor has been hard to find in the past.
The reason I asked about the mega was I figured the availability might be better also I am waiting to see what the price is going to be.

If you are in an non-SBR state but silencers are allowed, we could build an upper for you with an attached silencer and meet the 16 inch length.
