    Thoughts on RAT knives

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on RAT knives? I've been keeping an eye on them for some time. In researching their website I had decided on an RC4 as the best fit for my needs/wants.

Well I just picked up an RC4 at this past weekends gun show, I got one heck of a deal (or so I think I did) and didn't feel I could pass it up. My first impression of this knife is, that is a trim, slim survival knife that can be used in a tactical application as well. And I love the fact that it will bolt onto the leg shroud of a Safariland tactial/thigh rig. Now to just get the thigh rig, my birthday it coming up

    Yes, I was there

I think they make a very good product that work well in both survival and tactical applications. I have an rc3 mil and may get a larger rat at some point.

One of the best knives I ever bought is my RAT RC-3. Great blade, awesome handle and I like the design.

    RAT

We are a RAT dealer and we can say that Jeff is one of the nicest people that we deal with. He has knows more than any one I have talked to on the subject of using knifes not just owning them. I have one on my kit that I love and 3 more in different places that have not failed me yet.

Just an FYI, RAT is changing there name to ESEE, Escuela de Supervivencia (School of Survival) Escape, Evasion.
    Still the same product.

No, it was a trade mark/brand issue.

BTW, Jeff is GTG as is ESEE Knives (formerly Rat Cutlery). They have a board at Blade Forums which is a excellent source on "Rat Cutlery".
