If it is CA specific, then I will have to order in large batches to my friends in either NV or AZ and pick up. Or just drive over and get it from a shop.
Some things are better left unsaid.
That exchange quoted above was about AB962, in this very thread, to which I was responding.

The nonsense from the Democrats is a given, but it's our Republican Governor who keeps signing these laws...

Yes, a Republican governor signs the laws...but that's a simplistic view of the situation. It's not about party, it's about the whole body politic in that state. The voters continually elect a pretty darn liberal legislature which makes stupid outcomes all but inevitable. Yes, the spineless wonder that is the governor could do better, but even the staunchest conservative executive is going to get pulled to the left if the entire legislature lists so far to port that they steam in circles.

What California really needs is a grass-roots shakeup of revolutionary proportions that crushes the established political order in California.

Also the microstamping law will never be implemented due to the aforementioned patent clause the NRA and CGF added at the last minute.
    Patents expire after 17 years.

By that time the bill will be repealed.

There's a few cases in the system right now that will take down and reverse several stupid laws in California and those will pave the way to have several bills repealed or torn apart enough to be unenforceable or completely repealed. Don't lose hope, fight back.

    100% CORRECT!

Unfortunately, gun owners are grossly outnumbered here. CA gun owners voted for our state's legislative body as much as the gun owners in the rest of the country voted for Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress.

We need MORE gun owners moving INTO the state, NOT moving OUT.

CA is the front line in the battle for 2A rights. I find it ironic when when out of state internet chest thumpers rant about fighting for freedom, but aren't willing to ship legal guns to CA gun owners.

Send us guns, send us ammunition, and more importantly bring us your votes by moving here and fighting with us.

    Micro-stamping

The people who sell in 49 states but refuse to sell in Cal. because of a requirement to have is pre-approved are playing into the hands of the anti gunners.
I have purchased one gun and will buy another one in a month from out of state just to mess with the state. If everyone did that it would increase the cost to the state to process the paperwork, the more we can do to ruin the budget the better. The state is looking to cut programs and they won't cut the government cheese programs so they might cut the funding for programs like the pre approval bs. It would involve the courts to get that program stopped and allow people to import with out the paperwork but it would be worth it.
