    I like the T-1 or the H-1.

Same here, for generally the same reasons. If I need to shoot at night, I use a PEQ device, and wear my -14s over my non-dominant eye, anyway. Coughing up extra scratch for settings I had no use for didn't make any sense, though I wanted SOME water resistance and a couple years' worth of battery life available.

M4S, with most of my rifles (except the M92 T-1) I shoot better with the full size.

The T1. I sold both of my M4's. Good sights but they don't offer anything more than extra weight and size over the T1.

    Aimpoint

H1 or T1 (on a LT mount, of course).

Compare them to everything else and you see why they are the best way to go.

Comp M4 with a Bobro or LaRue mount are my favorites. Have one in each. Owned other models (M3, M2) as well.

However, if I were to get another one, and it was going to be for a build for lightness I'd go with the T-1 or H-1.

Why not an EOTech? I think for most folks it's battery life/issues. I tried one because I liked the reticle and it ate batteries like they were going out of style, and it wouldn't stay on when mounted on an AR-10. For me the price difference between an EO and an Aimpoint would have been made up in battery expense after a few years. Plus, being able to turn an Aimpoint on and leave it on indefinitely (for years) is kind of nice. That sort of thing may be useful on a patrol rifle. YMMV.

Aimpoint comp M4 (or S if you fancy the lower battery mount). My Dept. issue rifle has an Eo 512 and I can't change by policy. It is a decent enough site, but I have concerns about durability, and battery life. I have seen alot of Eo's go down at my agency (battery contact issues, broken glass and broken mounts), the newer revision F is alot better, but they don't compare with Aimpoint.

I have an M4 on my personal gun and chose it over the T-1 for two reasons. 1: The AA battery which is just a bit easier and cheaper to come by than the T-1 battery (which is really not that hard to find) and 2: It has a bit better battery life than the T-1. That being said, the T-1/H-1's are really good as well.

I have replaced my larger Aimpoints with the T1. The T1 does everything the larger sights did but is obviously smaller and lighter. The only downside is no kill flash for the T1 if you want one.
