Anyone have any longer term updates on the strikefire they owned?

I bought my strikefire right when they came out with the brighter red only version, I think a little over 2 years ago. The only 2 problems I ever had with it...#1 the mount that came with it was garbage, and caused a loss of zero after a little banging around. I upgraded it to a Larue LT150 (thinking I was gonna buy a comp m2 anyway) the Aimpoint deal fell threw...but the strikefire has not lost zero since.#2 One day my Strikefire would not turn on, or so it would seem....some how I mistakenly hit the NV button.
All in all, I can't complain.... it seems to be quite durable, and water/fog proof, has not lost zero for well over 1000 rnds....since I tossed the original mount, and I'm still on the original battery...but that being said, i am still trying to find a way to save for that comp m2....hopefully some day.

I have a Strikefire mounted on my DDM4. I like it alot. It gets knocked around pretty good when I am practicing different drills. It has yet to let me down. I shoot on a regular basis. For the price ...it works for me.

I would just steer clear of the red/green model. I have seen one myself...and it would be totally worthless on a bright day, It's amazing how dim it is compared to the red only version.

Finding a Red only is not so easy these days. At least is new condition and under $180

You can get one at Primary Arms, I am not sure....but I think they are cheaper than that.
