1. Al Gore won the Nobel PEACE Prize, not the one for METEOROLOGY.
2. I'd posit that there is no 'science' in climate change. They can not run experiments and hold something constant. They are limited to observations, and past readings. And we know what they do with the past readings. It is being a bit picky, but I think it is an important distinction. No one is going to run out of a lab with a breakthrough that everyone else can replicate.
3. Models - Computer ones and ones from Milan & New York are easily manipulated, tweaked by a computer to get the results you want, and are never as pretty when you strip off all the make-up and look at the raw data.
4. This is an El Nino year, by all accounts the NW Pacific should be shedding energy like a MoFo and here we have a really mild winter -except that aint happening.
This is of course caused by carbon pollutantsGlobal warming and global cooling.
Global cooling was a big thing 50 to 60 years ago and now global warming is the latest & greatest BS to be spread by the media. If given the choice I would take the warming over cooling anytime.
Does this mean that we can get back to normal broadcasting on the History and Discovery Channels? Just once, I would like to turn on the television and actually watch a program NOT trying to scare my kids with man-made global catastrophes and maybe watch something like say....about history or real science?
Speaking of which, and off-topic, but WTH is up with all the stupid reality television shows on the History Channel? What does Ax Men, Pawn Stars, Madhouse, Iceroad Truckers or UFO Hunters have to do with history?

...so when the IPCC scientists in the article say that the "warming" is a result of natural phenomena and that the "warming" is actually going to become a cooling trend (which we've been in for several years now) they are...what? Lying? Stupid? Given that we know that the "scientific consensus" has been considerably fudged by some key players in a manner that is absolutely incompatible with general principles of academic freedom and peer review, it seems a little premature to declare the matter settled.
