A man with a gun is a citizen. A man without a gun is a subject.

The Muppets do Queen.
I grew up watching the Muppets and Bugs Bunny and to this day I'm convinced that some of the most brilliant comedy minds in history worked on those projects. That stuff was just hilarious.
Much of what passes for "comedy" these days just isn't funny. Kids these days are stuck watching cartoons that are either about some retarded card game or some anime nonsense about dudes who "fight" by alternately having a long and boring conversation or grunting like they are trying to pass a stone until they glow.
It's no wonder kids these days are messed up.

Agreed, and a bonus with Bugs was the classical music.

This is truth, pure and simple, and reaffirmed after watching the New Year's Day Looney Tunes marathon on Cartoon Network. I'm convinced a steady diet of Looney Tunes and the old Disney cartoons like Goofy learning to ski, etc. and Donald vs. the Chipmunks, could turn around America's youth. Okay, that, and some actual parenting, but the real cartoons would help. Or at least give me better stuff to watch on TV.
I am commandeering this for sig line material.

Zombies seek out and eat brains. Don't worry; you'll be safe if they attack.
Classic!
Thanks for sharing that, brought back some good memories.
Not all new animated shows are crap, but I agree that most are. The majority of them are just long commercials. One that stands out is Avatar: The Last Airbender. I started watching it with my daughter and got hooked. Great story and characters with real lessons about morality. I rarely buy DVDs of anything, but I'm going to get the complete Avatar series.
While not a children's skit, this is hands down the funniest puppet skit I've ever seen. Use headphones if you're at work or around those who are offended by language.
