I grew up watching the Muppets and Bugs Bunny and to this day I'm convinced that some of the most brilliant comedy minds in history worked on those projects. That stuff was just hilarious.

I agree with you. I am getting some of the older cartoon collections on DVD for my boy to watch. He does not watch TV except the history channel once in a while.

Much of what passes for "comedy" these days just isn't funny. Kids these days are stuck watching cartoons that are either about some retarded card game or some anime nonsense about dudes who "fight" by alternately having a long and boring conversation or grunting like they are trying to pass a stone until they glow.

yeah most of the anime to actually get put on the boobtoob here in the US sucks.

It's no wonder kids these days are messed up.
