Interesting. Someone on another site contacted Bushmaster and the MSRP is $2700. Not sure what configuration that includes though.

Holy crap! A fully loaded SCAR is cheaper than that.......and it has SOCOM adoption.

I dont trust MSRP prices anyways, for instance Ruger SR556 was MSRPed at $2000 but street price was $1400-1500. Then again we are taking other peoples word for the price without the official debut. Once I see it in the street priced in store I will believe it. The high price is probably the "enhanced"

Bushmaster also quoted someone $1500...we will have to see tomarrow at SHOT. $2,000 or greater is too high for me.

At $2700 the SCAR will out sell the ACR easy, and the SCAR is not selling that great... The Peoples Rifle.

If you use your logic and example then the ACR will run about $2200. Still too much in my mind...

And there is no official word yet on final barrel twist. Someone on TOS posted a Bushmaster catalog that had all barrels as 1/9" twist...

Maybe $2700 is the loaded version

Also, I'm looking all over the place for a SCAR, and can't find one cheaper than $2800 THAT IS IN STOCK.

Yes they are 1:9" twist according to the catalog, there's a big deal about it in the other ACR thread. Doesnt bother me personally I have all 55gr stuff. Remmy's site still shows 1:7"

Again the price we are operating on is still hearsay "someone said they called bushmaster and they said...." etc. I'll believe it when I see it.

I also don't like the fact that there is no 16" barrel, they went with 18". For all of us who can not SBR I would rather have as short as I can legally own.
