variable 1-4 with unlimited eye relief

is there such a scope where, if dialed in at 1x, it would have unlimited eye relief? seems impossible, but thought i'd ask!

thanks, pat! this confirmed my suspicions. in my years of shooting, i've never seen one... so i figured it didn't exist. let's call this thread KAPUT!

While unlimited is impossible our new Viper PST 1-4x24 has an extremely large eye relief range, especially at 1x. It is usable from about 3in out to as far as I can hold the scope away from my face. It could really be used as a scout scope at 1x.

At 4x the range shrinks in quite a bit, but it is still very forgiving.

I looked through a Nightforce 1-4 and it was amazing. And at 1,200 clams, it should be. No lighted dot though, only crosshairs.
