Surprised you didn't get a pic of the 7.62x39 upper on a 5.56 marked lower.

Is this some type of new HK magazine?
I noticed the older one on the top left, but the magazine on the bottom right looks completely different.
    Anyone know?
Aimpoint M4S- Because your next Aimpoint battery hasn't been made yet.

Great pics. AAC had one of the nicer booths at SHOT and it was definitely busy.

However, they and Daniel Defense both had bold white lighting on the display wall that was very difficult to look at.

The Mil/LE section was also victim to heavy traffic and poor lighting, that made it somewhat claustrophobic.

The long awaited LMT MRP 308.....the system is based on the same deminsion as the KAC SR25.

Ambi magazine release in similar fashion as the latest KAC SR16 series.

Prorotype 308 MRP will most likely see the light of day by end of this year..

Delivery will start with complete guns and possibily uppers later on in the product life cycle.

works with KAC SR25 magazines or the latest Magpul 308 mags....

    Seriously beefy barrel assembly....

Yeah, I did too. Saw a 7.62x39 and a 6.8, both on 5.56 marked lowers. Didn't think to take a pic for whatever reason.

    Magpul at SHOT

Magpul is the only place you can find the ACR, unlike last year's SHOT, ACR was displayed at both Bushmaster, and Magpul, but due to some unfotrseened production delay, the ACR are mostly absent.

But....The very cool Massoud was in its third prototype revision. no longer build with hand made parts, this generation of Massoud is all CNC machined and almost in its final stage....Now Magpul should just put this pupy into production instead of selling the rights to another company...

Mostly it is a beefed up ACR with some minor changes...

Finned barrel for better cooling and also instead of a QD barrel, a castle nut style barrel nut lock down the massive barrel assembly.

308 P-Mag with the feed lip cover clip to thge floor plate acting as a buffer for dropping the mag on deck. It is a nice touch to include a option to clip the cover to the magazine.

308 P-Mag is compatible with SR25 magazine, instead of paying 100 plus for an SR25 magazine from KAC, this will be cheaper, and just as reliable.

Massoud with a smile....going long range with this precision marksmen platform.

This prototype extended rail system is a hand made unit, the welded seams will be cleaned up and much more refined in the final production version.

More Magpul Massoud pictures....I guess you realize I REAL like this rifle...

PLEASE DO NOT CALL MAGPUL on Massoud's release date, no date has been set nor any production plan in place....Thanks.

The man responsible for most of the Massoud's development...

More detail photo of the extended Massoud rail....

Barrel nut can be removed via a M4 stock wrench mate with a torque wrench.

The non-reciprocating charging handle are somewhat FAL like in simplicity and function.

    Carbon Fiber wrapped match barrel.

    Barrel nut

    Close up of the piston

    Gas piston and piton rod

Trunnion, barrel interface and how they are all screwed into the receiver.

The recoil spring travels down a channel through the top of the carrier

At the top of the carrier, the recoil spring rod is pushed through and rotated to recess into a slot cut into the carrier.

blade on the recoil spring rod recessed into the slot cut in the carrier...

    Posing with the Massoud....

Personal rifles that belongs to the Magpul Dynamics boyz...

A very well though out sling made by the Magpul Dynamics Dynamic duo...notice the loop to adjust the sling, it is sew into the buckle itself, it is easier to adjust and access than the others on the market.

You can also lock it in to use it as a single point sling...

The clamp is also lockable via the rotating wheel on the clamp.

The sling travels on a new sling plate, the sling plate are design to allow the shooter to transition from Primary to support with ease. the quick pull tab will allow the shooter to quickly release the weapon in time of emergency.

Bolt catch release in polymer form...soon a production verion could be ready for public release....

UBR style stock for the SAW/MK46
