Face lift on my GAP AR10 Precision rifle

    This is before.

    This is after

I had the Nightforce sent in for a Zero Stop and while it was out I sent the upper back to GAP to have the barrel threaded and a new rail installed. I also added yet another Primary Arms red dot sight to my collection. I like the idea of a small red dot sight on a precision rifle for close range self defense against zombies.

Did those mods bump up the accuracy?

    What does that rifle weigh?

Very nice....I am working on a Noveske N6 build with a Noveske 18.5 barrell, however, it will be a little while before it is completed due to it being quite costly.

The rifle is heavy. I have not weighed it. I need to get a postal scale. I am going to guess about 15 to 16 pounds. I will post a range report after I take it out tomorrow. I have not had a chance to shoot it since the new muzzle brake and hand guard were put on.

Just a little FYI. My wife used to breed Chihuahua's. So we needed to know their weights. A bathroom scale wont weight light weight items. BUT if you weigh yourself then weigh yourself with the rifle in your hands subtract the first weight then you have the weight of your rifle. I don't know if you have a bathroom scale, most people do.

    ETA: Very nice stick!

    Pat, likewise on the RD.
    the TNVC

Tho I am considering the LaRue angled mount.
DONT get me wrong, I like the TNVC SAR.
The cheek weld, for me isnt that bad. I can aquire between both rather quickly.

What's your take on the AP being in the 1'oclock pos ?

I like the 1 oclock position. It is much better with the Larue mount vs the DD rail mount.
