    Question Trijicon Reflex Question....

I am going to put a Trijicon reflex 1x24 Amber Dot on the wifes S&W AR. Can I mate the Aimpoint 3x magnifier with it or would there be a better option. I practically got the reflex for free so I am determined to use it, at least in the near future. Any suggestions will be appreciated. The more the better. Thank you in advance for those that reply.

I have very little personal experience with the Trijicon Reflex and zero personal experience with any magnifiers.

However, in all my optics searching on the web, I have never seen a picture of a magnifier behind a Reflex.

I believe USMC03 has made a few posts here stating that having the magnifier closer to the tube/optic helps make the dot look crisper.

This could be an issue with the Reflex as it seems it would be difficult to mount the magnifier close to the reflex’s window.

Hopefully you can try someone’s magnifier and let us know how it works.

Or you could always buy a H&K Hendsolt Range Finder 2.5x (I found one for $15 from Cheaper Than Dirt) and test it out. If you didn’t like it, you are only out $15 +shipping.

    Good luck

    Question Metrorolight MX3 need opinions...

Metroprolight puts their MX3 with their m21 scope which is much like the Reflex scope. It appears that is exactly what I'm looking for. Any input on this combo?

I would personally not use a Trijicon Reflex or M21 (as there are much better choices out there).

I already have the Reflex (practically free) so I was just trying to come up with a magnifier option. I realize there are better options but I'm just trying to use what I have.

    I would try it

I have both the M21 and the Trijicon I am hoping to mate it to the MX3 magnifier. Not sure how that would work with the lower trijicon but might be okay. I think they are great options if you do not want to worry about batteries. I carried my meprolight into Afghanistan and it served me well. I never had to worry about turning it on or off, no worries about batteries. It just works all the time no matter what.

The magnifier will work fine behind the Reflex.

Most anything. Aimpoint, EOTECH, just about any quality 1-4 scope, TRIJICON RMR, etc.
