First of all, not everyone is having troubles. Not all op-rods do this. Not all companies that have pistons have problems. so to say you learned alot about pistons vs. DI, is kind of a narrow statement. You learned alot about a non-perfected piston system that needed to be feilded to find all the issues... We all learned that. All Im saying is dont make it out to be more than it is. apparently people had a preconceived notion of this being a perfectly wonderful thing without hik-up. Think of all the rifle companies out there and all the things that are supposed to be mil-spec and arent. There are areas of these rifles that vary from one to the next, Diameters, lengths, etc. When you add a piston to a rifle that wasnt specifically designed to use a piston, along with all the little variables, it dosnt quite seem so bad.

Yeah, you do have to wait until they fix it but dont put down an entire concept because you had troubles with the first production run of a retro-fit system. Its a pretty damn good idea, and im sure it took alot of time, effort and money to go from thought to design to production.

BTW- Im not trying to start an argument, but just because something dosnt work right the first time dosnt mean you just walk away and dub it no good.
