    Is this a true Aimpoint?

    Hello everyone.

I'm about to be in the market for an optic quite soon, and trolling around Ebay, I came across this Aimpoint M2 with a lot of extras. Question I have, specially with my inexperienced eye, is this a clone or the real deal.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I'm on the fence with whether to go with the Aimpoint for its durability and crazy battery life, or the Eotech, for one being cheaper, and its optic and view. Looking to do 3-gun and carbine courses.

If it's from SWFA/Riflescopes.com there's a very likelyhood of it being genuine.

I'm leery of anything on Ebay....however, you have to balance that against the reputation of the seller. Looking at the link, it seems like a good deal ($477, including covers, killflash, and QRP mount)...

It really comes down to what they send you...a lot of the photos look like stock photos.

Personally, I would rather purchase from someone here...either a sponsor, or buy used from a member here. I got a great deal on an ML2 & mount from SHIVAN a couple of months ago.

    Just food for thought.

Riflescopes.com should be GTG. Since you have to use PP you should be protected. Jeff

    Thumbs up

If purchasing on Ebay I highly recommend seller angula aka smartgunner. Good prices and fast shipping. All the products he sells are 100% genuine .

    Very HIGH or very LOW?
I've heard good things about riflescopes.com but just want to be sure what you intended to say.

It is legit. But, there is a guy on TOS selling another AAFES aimpoint for 407. Brand new but mounted once.

I need to find out what the AAFES price is. Haven't seen them in the px here.

My biggest thing about getting an aimpoint is the mount. I want something that is GTG and won't move or break because it isn't firearms rated, and not airsoft. Honestly, if the mount wasn't in the offer, I would be going for the EOtech.

    Thanks everyone.
