If you have the SA TRP with Bull Barrel and target sights, can it converted to combat sights and a bushing barrel without having to modify the gun. Could you just buy a new barrel, bushing, novack sights and instal them?

I have heard of people doing this on other bushingless 1911's so I don't see why not.
Does the slide have the little bushing cut machined into it to mate with the little key on the bushing?
"The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental." John Steinbeck
As MD said, if the slide is cut for the barrel bushing lug, fitting a conventional barrel shouldn't be a problem.
If the TRP has the adjustable rear sight, you can't install a Novak without a lot of work and some welding. John Harrison makes a fixed rear sight that you can replace the adjustable sight with.
Thanks guys, just what I wanted to know.
