Just curious, if you have a product that has been 100%, why look elsewhere? I don't think you will find a lot of love for DICK or his products around here...

If it works, why replace it

    LaRue all the way.

ARMS is designed to work with one specific rail spec. Even rails from top quality manufacturers will have slight variances, and you can run into a setup where the mount is loose or too tight. Lots of people have snapped the levers trying to get them on a rail...or wind up with a mount that slides back and forth on the rail. The LaRue is adjustable so you get proper tension on a variety of rails, and IMO are generally a stronger mount to begin with.

ARMS has their new series of mounts that are user adjustable, and don't require tools.

Other mounts worth looking at include ADM, KAC and Bobro, none of which require tools for adjustment.

Bobro was just picked up by Trijicon as an OEM mount.

ADM looks to be making mounts for FN.

KAC is KAC, and have been making mounts for the military for quite awhile.

ARMS has enjoyed military contracts for years.
    Stick

As an owner of both, I like the Larue better for the reasons stated above.

Larue for me as well. KAC, ADM, and Bobro also make great gear. DD makes a T1 mount that looks like a great mount as well.

FWIW, your posts would be easier to read and follow if they weren't one big run-on sentence without capital letters.

I don't see being tooless adjustable a huge benefit. You set it once, and its done with.
