Agreed. My mounts don't go from one rifle to the other so the toolless adjusting is a moot point with me. Might benefit others though so I'm not against it. It just wouldn't affect my decision.
Only hits count......you can not miss fast enough to catch up

You'd be taking a step backwards by going with ARMS; you already have an example of the state of the industry.

ARMS, instead of doing actual product development, sues LaRue.

As with everyone else LT is far superior.

I own both the LaRue and A.R.M.S. mount.

I'm happy with both since I've never had any problems with either. For me, the return to zero works quite well on both.

I own a ARMS and Larue mount for two of my Comp M3s. They have both been reliable and have a constant zero. I also own a Bobro mount for one of my scopes, and I have to say that I prefer the Bobro. However, with ARMS and Larue, you have every mounting option/configuration possible. Bobro are fairly new to the M4 community and do not have the multiple configurations like the other manufacturers do. If you were just mounting one optic, I recommend the Bobro. I think the engineering behind there clamping design is superior. Just my two cents, it comes down to your preference.

I doubt I'd ever buy anything from that nutcase LaRue. If he had something unique that I needed, I might... It's just hard to support a company whose principal is such a douche.

Google didn't come up with anything on Larue and douche/nutcase so please inform me.

Similar experience here. Happy with both companies. IIRC, I have an ARMS #19 for my ACOG, and LT mounts for my flashlight and Aimpoint T-1. Both have been superb in terms of tight lock-on and return to zero.

I think LaRue might eek out ahead though, since they have an already built-in tension adjustment.

Finally, I am not a HSLD guy, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Some of the HSLD guys report that their ARMS shit always breaks so...YMMV.
