Anyone Know About This PZF Optic...?

Hensoldt Panzerfaust Optik (Hensoldt ZF 2.6X13 PZF)

Is the reticle adjustable? And what is the outside diameter of the scope tube?

Thinking it would be a nice low mag, high quality optic if I can find scope rings that would fit it.

This the package from Cheaper Than Dirt?

If so, I bought one. The reticle is not adjustable.

The one I have is marked 1980 for a date. It's outside diameter, where the ring sits, looks to be right at 1". I do not have a working pair of calipers at the moment, but a very accurate ruler and old eyes.

The optic appears to be quite clear, and does have a system of stadia marks inside, to judge the apparent distance of a BMP or BRDM, I would guess.

I'd like to do the same thing, I missed out on the Larue Po' Boy Special, and was thinking of making one using this.

I'd be interested in what path you take.

Yeah, looks like I was late to the game on the Po Boy special. I'm thinking this would be a perfect optic for things like AKs and such. From my research it looks like 1" rings are the ticket.

Now I just need to come up with adjustable rings or an adjustable mount. I can use the original reticle, it's no more busy or convoluted than most Russian rifle reticles.

Numrich Arms has these listed for $27.00 bare or $36.00 with the ring mount. Might be a good experiment at that price.
