    NF 1-4 Mount

I'm about to pickup a NF 1-4 and have started looking for a mount.

I've been considering the American Defense RECON Scope Mount, but I'm worried about it's height and whether the rear Troy or MagPul sight will clear.

Is anyone running this combo and can lend some advise?

    Thanks.

Larue 104SPr or 135, which is the same height as the aimpoints. Is there a reason yiou don't want the Larue? It's what I used for a couple of years with the NF 1-4 and FC2 reticle. I don't know anything about the mount you did ask about.

On paper, the AD mount is more appealing to me. I like that it's less marring to the upper receiver and can accommodate out of spec rails.

When we hit the range on Saturday I'll let you check out my NF/LT combo & see what you think.

The money that I don't really have is burning a hole in my pocket. I might have it by Saturday

You can't beat Mark LaRue's customer service and AD isn't going to give you a hat, a tactical beverage entry tool, and a jar of dry rub when you buy a mount from them.

That kind of stuff was cool on the first 2 or 3 orders, it's just piling up in a drawer now.

AD just seems like an underdog .... I like that.

I have a soft spot for the underdog too. I looked at the AD mount before I got my LaRue, it is a solid enough piece, I'd buy one of their mounts in the future if I found it met my needs.

    What about a Bobro mount?
