Omega rails are the way to go if you odn't want to remove the flash hider/fsp/barrel nut. They are very well made.

Why not send it to ADCO to either have the pinned muzzle device removed? Only costs $40.

Or you can have them do that and shave down the gas block for another $30.

Once you do that, you can put a DD Lite or DD Omega X rail on it.

I have already ran that scenario thtough my head and it isnt worth it. It woukd cost 40$ to remove the FH, 60$ for a phantom+ install, 50$ to have the FF rail installed, 30$ to mill my FSB + the cost of whatever rail I get.

All in all way to much time, PITA, and money. I wish BCM woukd have had a 16" CAR or middy in stock whenever I bought mine. 14.5 seemed cool at thr time but now it has became a PITA.

If DD could do this with the Omega it would be even better than the Troy as it wouldn't require the removal of the delta ring eitther.

    Rob,

I think the ILM is a good option, it will cost me $145 but I will not need a rail for my BCM 11.5" upper so it will save me in the long run.

Id say.. go with the option of "what you like" .. don't go for 2nd best.

Id like a 10in rail on the 14.5in barrel. but that's just me.
