    I Freaking hate Basketball!

Tonight Jericho was "postponed" because the Spurs were on TV, not only did they not notify anyone of this delay they had the audacity to play Jericho at midnight.

They made me miss the first 15 damn minutes and I will never ever, ever forget this.

I can't believe in this day and age Soldiers, Teachers, Police and Fire Professionals get paid less than a bunch of over paid knuckle dragging thugs with the one talent of dribbling and throwing a ball in a hoop.

    Rant off.

    I am with you brother!

For me it is not just basketball, but all the pro "sports". We all pay a hefty toll for products because of advertising and the stupid money paid to athletes, actors and singers. Some of them repay the public with bad behavior which sets a great example for the kids that idolize them. and

It's pretty good, it is at least a different animal than the rest of the tripe on TV. Last night had some major plot developments so it wasn't a good one to postpone...

It's a break from the worthless drivel of comedy's and soap opera drama's.

    It's on my must see list along with;

    Deadliest Catch
    Heroes
    The Shield
    Prison Break
    The Unit
    The Riches
Gray's Anatomy (Cuddle time with the wife)

what is even more pathetic to me is the people who defend them and their salaries. i have argued with people to the brink of flat out anger about how overpaid they are and they bring up oh well they bring the money in. IMO noone is worth the kind of money they make let alone people who play a "sport." i find it truly sad theat our troops' doctors, nurses, LE to name a few make a difference in this world and dont make a fraction of what they make. Labron is the most overpaid of them all if you ask me.

    rant off
There is a fight, that began before any of us were ever born. It will continue, long after we have retired, moved on, and left this world. It is a fight for the soccer mom next door, your mailman, the guy that bags your groceries, and most importantly, it is a fight for your family. We are in a daily battle not for land, not for resources or colonial controls...we are in a fight for our very way of life

In economics, this is known as 'marginal utility'. If we had to choose between all of the school teachers, police officers, soldiers etc....and all of the professional athletes, we would, I would be safe in assuming choose the former. But this has no relevance at all on the value of the services of for example one school teacher versus the value of one professional athlete. It is fairly easy to replace one teacher; we have an abundance of people with the ability to move into education should the demand suddenly arise. But contrast this with a pitcher on a professional baseball team. There are very few people who could throw a strike at 90 mph, even with years of training.
Sorry about your program, I get a little agitated as well when during inclement weather the local weatherman has to pop on and interrupt my show to track the storm or tornado on satellite block by block. As if a simple warning at the top of my screen wouldn't suffice as an adequate notification.

    Go Cavs!!!!
