Quick poll Eotech vs. Aimpoint
I'm sure this has been done but I wanted quick consensus of the group.
I'm currently redoing an old A2 Bushy into an A3 and have loved my Comp ML3's on other rifles but was considering an Eotech on this one.

i have a eotech on my home built a2 and i really like it. eotech always had a more open feeling than and aimpoint did . with that said i wouldnt turn down an aimpoint for a good price.

First in, I win. Its 100% EoTech to 0 for Aimpoint.
Actually, I have both Aimpoints and EoTechs. But, I like the quick pointing circle dot setup with EoTech.
It will be interesting to see how this poll goes.

I voted Eotech. The internet says that Aimpoints are more robust but I've had both fail. However I think the Eotech reticle is far superior. I'm using an XPS 2-0 on a daily basis with no problems. I highly recommend the XPS series over the older ones.

Out of those two I'd go Aimpoint. If you are going to buy a new EOTech, get the XPS. Might as well get the new model that solves several of EOTechs "issues"

Voted AP because . . .
I, too, prefer the EO reticle, but if the sight itself is not reliable, I don't care if the reticle displays a hologram of Jenna Jameson in her birthday suit.
AP = more reliable.
As others have said, the XPS has promise. We'll see what happens.

I went Eotech and Trijicon with my rifles. I am running an Eotech XPS on my Daniel Defense and will be running an XPS on my Kriss Super V SMG.

I've been an EOTech user for years. I personally wouldn't buy anything other than an XPS or EXPS at this point - in fact, I'm hoping to order an XPS in a week or so when my tax refund comes in, at which point my old 511 will move down to my rimfire AR trainer.
