Exclamation AR 15 Questions about Attachments Please look!!!

Ok im new to AR's and i was wondering if this would be a good fun for my first one.

    http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/56365

    Is it worth the price?

I just plan on shooting around with it. and kill small game. Maybe deer hunt with it if i could kill one with it.

But the real question is could i just put a bi-pod and a red dot scope on that straight out of the box? Or would i need to put other stuff on it to attach those.

Here are the items im looking at.

    SCOPE

    Bi-Pod

Please let me know if those will fit.

I can get that whole package (Front Grip/ Flash Light / Bi-pod ) for 66 bucks if i buy them all..

Will they fit on that gun?

I'm not even sure where to start. You can buy a much better rifle for around the same amount of money. As for the components you listed; clones are never a good idea for an serious rifle and those other things look like they would be better suited for airsoft. I would suggest that read much more on this site before you make any purchase.

Well i looked at alot more rifles and the only reason i liked that one the most is because i like the look of it a lot better.

Do you have any suggestions for a rifle that i could get around that price that is better?

Wow a long range varmint rifle with a close range sight. I just built my BCM for 1200 with all the magpul goodies, thats not much more money considering the much, much higher quality. As previously stated read alot more on this site and find "the chart" b4 you buy. And be a model responsible gun owner for all our sakes and take a carbine class.

Well i dont plan on shooting 1k yards or anything.
Mainly just go back on a strip job (old coal company hill) and shoot around with my friends at pop cans.

    Stevie,

I am sure that you are aware that many of us at M4C are not wrapped up in the way something looks, but rather how it performs.

A rifle like the AR is first and foremost a fighting weapon. Whether it be for duty use or protection of your family. Everything else is secondary or an extra benefit.

I would personally stay away from this rifle. Look at a build job from Bravo Company USA, Daniel Defense or even the new S&W carbine. All of those will serve you well.

I also encourage you to stay away from that UTG chinese crap and save the money for good magazines and ammo.

It will probly do what you want but its gone be a heavy bastard. IMO a lighter weight would be better, just take it slow, this site is full of info that will help also optics are not where you want to save money, leupold and burris make excellent optics and their lower end models wont bust your budget a whole lot more than the eotec clone and have awesome waranties

The first thing you need to figure out is what do you want the rifle for. That rifle you are looking at is a big heavy varmint/match rifle.

Here are a couple of threads to get you started. Only you can decide what rifle will be best for you. I just urge you to learn as much as you can before you buy so that you will be making an informed decision.
