Its hard to get both for that I would sugest a S&W M&P, Academy sports has them going around 899 last I looked and a Burris 4x20 Timberline is going around 180
Stevie: You should definitely prioritise.
1) Focus on getting a good rifle/carbine first.
2) If you've got enough left for a good scope, cool, if you don't wait until you do.
For $1000 you can get a rifle that doesn't suck. Screw all the bolt-on accessories until you've shot the thing or taken a class. Then you'll see what you want, and what you don't want.
Buy this upper if you want a good smokewagon:

Then, order this lower, and have it shipped to your local dealer:

Grand total of: $952 if you go with the midlength and no frills.
You won't be getting ripped off, and you won't be getting junk.
Buy the other stuff later.

Would i have to build that?
I was kinda looking for one that was already built. Cause i dont know the first part of building them.
Also on that upper. Would i have to buy the grip and stuff for it? like the barrel shroud part
Also, I'd pass on anything from Tapco, CAA, UTG, or any of the airsoft companies for use on a real firearm--they're just not made to handle the stress a real gun can place on some accessory doodad.
